Informative, energizing, and empowering in equal measure, the Simmons Leadership Conference is the nation's premier one-day professional development event for women. The 2016 program celebrates Women Leading Change, featuring a full roster of thought leaders and innovators that include attorney Anita Hill, whose Congressional testimony was instrumental in reducing tolerance of sexual harassment in the workplace; futurist Edie Weiner, a pioneer in identifying and analyzing the social trends affecting business as well as individuals; and activist Eva Longoria, whose tireless efforts on multiple fronts have helped to improve work conditions and educational opportunities for members of the Latino community.
Over the course of the day, the four inspiring keynote speakers offer candid stories about their experiences on the way to the top, as well as principles for success to help you pursue your own professional path. There is also a choice of lively panel discussions, signature dialogues, and skill-building workshops on topics ranging from leadership lessons to negotiating strategies, from entrepreneurship to personal growth. And in between formal sessions are chances to meet the speakers at book-signings, visit the corporate marketplace, enjoy a delicious lunch, and network with some of the 3,300 aspiring women who attend the conference from companies and organizations across the country.
The Simmons Leadership Conference — a don't-miss experience for all women leaders. All proceeds support scholarships for students in graduate programs at Simmons College.
