Informative, energizing, and empowering in equal measure, the Simmons Leadership Conference is a women's professional development event like no other. In just one extraordinary day, the conference packs in more than 15 nationally renowned leaders from the worlds of business, media, politics, education, and entertainment—each offering candid stories about experiences along the way to the top, as well as practical knowledge, innovative ideas, and principles for success for women on their own professional paths. Fittingly, the 2015 conference takes as its theme Dare to Compete, echoing the advice of Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in her inspiring speech closing out the 2014 conference.
In between formal sessions are chances to meet the speakers at book-signings, visit the corporate marketplace, enjoy a delicious lunch, and network with some of the 3,000 aspiring women who attend the Simmons Leadership Conference each year. As one participant put it, this is an opportunity to invest in yourself for a day and profit all year long.
All proceeds support scholarships for students in graduate programs at Simmons College.
