Eva Longoria

Actor, Producer, Director, Activist

The multi-talented Eva Longoria is anything but a desperate housewife. After her breakout role in that long-running TV series, she has starred in the new hit show Telenovela, as well as in feature films that include Refugio, Low Riders, and Any Day. Longoria is also executive producer of the popular dramedy Devious Maids, a program developed by her company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment. Meanwhile, she is a successful restaurateur and author of the best-selling cookbook Eva's Kitchen. But even with all these accomplishments, Longoria considers activism and philanthropy her real focus. Among numerous other ventures, she has executive produced two documentaries, The Harvest and Food Chains, exposing the plight of child farm workers, and is at work on an ESPN short, Our Time, exploring the power of the Latino vote. She is also founder of the Eva Longoria Foundation, dedicated to empowering Latinas through education and entrepreneurship, and co-founder of Eva's Heroes, providing enrichment programs for adolescents with developmental disabilities. Longoria also serves as national spokesperson for Padres Contra el Cancer (Parents Against Cancer).
